Heart care has become an imperative with a large number of humans in their prime afflicted by the disease. The heart is a vital organ of our body, and it is part of the circulatory system which keeps life throbbing day and night. Though not easily overcome by work throughout one’s lifetime, the vital organ can give in to blockages, fatigue, and malfunction. Most often congenital impact leads to malformed chambers and valves.

All ailments that afflict the circulatory system in our body eventually impair heart functions. Global Impact

Although classified as a lifestyle-related disease that should as per norms afflict the affluent society, the impact is seen more among the third World countries dominated by a mix of low- and middle-income groups. The major reason is the lack of adequate health care facilities due to which the disease at the primary stage goes undetected. Moreover, the situation is further aggravated due to the lack of proper treatment facilities and expertise.

Low-Cost Access to Heart Surgery & Care

Low-cost treatment at the hands of expert surgeons and doctors is the key to overcoming the global menace. This is easier said than done since a very large proportion of the human populace goes without access to cardiac care and surgical resources. Some of the procedures like heart transplants can be prohibitively costly at 40,000 USD in India, and the same will cost around 13 million dollars in the USA.

For many sufferers in underdeveloped countries health travel overseas is the only resource but not all are wealthy enough. Invasive heart treatments range from being minimally invasive to open-heart procedures using lung machines and ventilators. Most of the ailments require a surgical imperative which is comparatively less costly. But major heart surgeries call for expertise, financial resources, and sound medical infrastructure that supports complex procedures.

Few countries in the world are capable of providing services for complex cardiac surgeries. Among them, those in developed countries are prohibitively costly. They are unable to provide access to the lower- and middle-income populace in third World countries besides a segment of their own. This brings ASIA into the picture where low-cost cardiac surgery and treatments are possible.

India with a vast and qualified health infrastructure dominates in providing services at a minimal cost. It is a major center for surgeries and treatments related to the heart. These are possible in a number of major hospitals pan India. These hospital chains are well equipped with necessary diagnostic and operative tools and machines.

Top hospitals manned by experienced, qualified doctors and surgeons are available all over the country. This system is capable of delivering low-cost heart surgeries and treatments.
